Empowering Women

With on-going educational and recreational events, leaders and volunteers of the YWCA Refugee and Immigrant Women’s Association (RIWA ) have worked to impact women in ways that promote leadership and self-sufficiency. Classes on finances, women’s health, home basics, and careers have been offered in sessions that meet the needs of the many different cultures of women living in this community. RIWA leadership looks forward, knowing that a continued presence is needed to assist the women and families arriving each day.
