09.13.10 KinderCollege Now Offered to 3 - 4 Year Old Children
Due to many parent requests, we now have a second section of KinderCollege for three & four year-olds. This section of KinderCollege is for children who will begin kindergarten in two years. The program will begin September 13 and run through the school year, until mid-May, 2011.
Like its ‘older’ counterpart, this ‘junior class’ of KinderCollege will have a full-day, every day experience. This program is NOT a prerequisite to attend the Senior KinderCollege for four and five year olds next fall. It is offered as yet another alternative in preschool education, wrapped with childcare from 6AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. This program is structured with a similar age-appropriate curriculum, fees and classroom management as the current KinderCollege program.
Children are engaged in a fun, learning environment that incorporates language, math, science, creative arts, fitness and music. They participate in field trips, swimming, taekwondo, yoga, dance and age-appropriate fitness activities for added learning experiences at no additional cost.
Please contact our YWCA South location for a tour or to learn more about KinderCollege registration, (605) 362-9438.
