Parent and Child Aquatics
Swimming Lessons for Little Ones
Ages 6 months to 3 years with Parent in the water
Builds basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping infants and young children ages six months to about three years to become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim.
Parent - Child Level 1
Program introduces basic skills to children with their parent, such as submerging mouth, nose and eyes, floating on front and back, rolling from front to back and back to front, along with safety topics. Limited to 12 children.
Parent - Child Level 2
Program builds on the skills introduced in the first level and adds entering water by stepping in, jumping in and using a ladder or stairs, exploring the pool (in shallow water), and opening eyes and retrieving objects below the surface. Limited to 12 children.

Fee: $50 members $57 non-members
Cancelation information There will be no make-up days due to weather. If the YWCA cancels a program, credits or refunds will be issued in full. If a participant cancels enrollment in a program prior to its start, the YWCA will issue a credit only, minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds or credits will be issued once the program has started. In case of medical emergencies, a refund will be issued for the remaining classes. A doctor's excuse must be presented to receive the refund.
