Rewarding opportunity to make a difference

Each of us can make a difference every single day.  At the YWCA, RIWA volunteers are some of our most important assets. Whether you are interested in giving a helping hand occasionally, on a permanent basis, or with a group, RIWA strives to provide the most enriching experience possible, for both volunteers and for those they serve.

Some of the areas that we need assistance:

• Advisory Committee member: appointed by RIWA coordinator
• Driver – pick up individuals and families for RIWA events and field trips
• Professional to offer workshop opportunities to refuge and immigrant women
• Volunteers to work the booths and special events like the Sidewalk Arts Festival, Multicultural Festival, Cultural Dining Experience, and other special events
