Empowerment through Community Service

Each year, over 1500 hours of supervised staffing have been arranged to help college and high school students complete community service commitments at the YWCA. Teenagers and college age students come to the YWCA for altruistic reasons, for a church or SALSA project, for confirmation or class credit, or the purpose of gaining experience. 

All teens and college age students looking to volunteer should call the YWCA.  Ask for the administrative assistant in charge of volunteers (605) 336-3660.
