At the YWCA Sioux Falls, our most important goal has always been to enrich the lives of women, children, and families in our community. Membership and program fees at the YWCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. You can ensure no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay with your financial support.  

There are many ways you can help support the YWCA and all gifts truly make an impact. Please choose the giving option that is right for you.

General support - where the need is the greatest.

• IRA Charitable Rollover Extended

  THE YWCA is a Qualified Charity

  On December 17, 2010, the President signed the extended charitable IRA legislation, which will be in effect until December 31, 2011. 
  
  Donors aged 70½ or older are eligible to move up to $100,000 from their IRAs directly to qualified charities without having to pay income taxes on the money. 
  
  Those donors who have not yet taken their 2010 mandatory distribution now have until the end of January to make a tax-free, roll-over contribution to a qualified charity and have it count toward their 2010 taxes.
  
  Please consider making a contribution to the YWCA Sioux Falls.
