BABYSITTING CLINICS
Learn the questions to ask before you agree to baby-sit, basic first aid, how to handle sibling conflicts, what you can expect form infants to school-age children and more. We wil also spend time in the childcare rooms. At the end of the day we will ake a break in the pool, so brinf your swimming suit!
The YWCA is offering this clinic during school breaks. It is a great time to take advantage of the many clinic dates we have to offer. This clinic is for Girls and Boys ages 10-14!!!
Babysitting 1 Clinic includes:
- Tips on basic child care
- Safety precautions to prevent accidents
- Basic life-saving techniques are reviewed
- Learn when to summon help
- End the day with a wonderful swim in the YWCA pool
- Be sure to bring your own swim suit and towel
- Babysitting 2 Clinic includes:
- Certification with infant and child CPR and first aid skills
- Prerequisite is Babysitting 1 Clinic at YWCA or other successful completion of another introductory babysitting class
- End the day with a wonderful swim in the YWCA pool
